Yes, it should have been faster, but a car accident three months prior and then a fever of 101 race morning kind of changed things for me! The simple fact that someone finishes is incredible. I read somewhere that something like 1% of the population will ever do a marathon. I bet it's a lot lower for Ironman. Go in with no expectation to finish, should be no pressure, and you can enjoy the experience and have fun. If you make it to the run and have a chance to finish, all the better. If not, nothing lost.<br /><br />I'd be happy to ride with you after the madison OWS, or anytime for that matter.
